Believing because a text told you to is not good enough. That text is not your Savior. Where is GOD HIMSELF in your life? I keep asking, and still haven’t got an answer from you. And I am admittedly getting frustrated.

God saves those that believe the Gospel.

Eph 1

14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Notice the word ' trusted ' . Those that believe the Gospel, God saves .

8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Notice God saves those that believe .

I believed all of the above .

No, not nonsense. In fact there are known added verse. The ending of Mark that you see in the Bible is not the original ending. It is thought that the additions were not done on purpose. They were often errors of copyists. For example one hypothesis is that notes were often kept in margins. Later copiers made the error of thinking that those notes were part of the text.

Are you familiar with the parable of the adulterous woman?

If all the Bibles in the world today got burned, does God cease to be? NO!!!

God exists way above and beyond X pages of the Bible. Which isn't to down put the Bible, but to remember the majesty that is God. The Bible is understood through God, testified of it's truths by God, a disciple is lead by God, saved by God etc. Believing the Bible without direct testimony from Him ... empty. There's no salvation or actual faith development behind that. To just refer to the Bible only the Bible... is really missing the purpose of the Bible (which is to point people to God Himself). The core of Christianity is not to believe a text, but to believe in & follow Christ Himself.

Please tell me about YOUR relationship with God directly. Not regurgitating a text. Your own words and experience.

Yes I'm aware of the DIFFERENT manuscripts people think are the more older and reliable blah blah blah. I believe God is quite capable in preserving his word. In English no less . I do not trust the so called modern translations that come from Alexandria. Kjv is the bible i use .
