How do you know ABOUT Jesus apart from Scripture ? How did you know how to be saved apart from scripture? How do you know how to live as a believer apart from scripture. And for the fourth time, What is the gosepl ?
You ask Him. The living Christ whom answers prayers.

Berry, I’ve been beyond patient with you. And I'm done asking for answers you either don't have or don't want to give (about your own relationship with Christ). So I'm going to move on from that question.
I am scientist and extreme investigator into any truth claims. For me, the ultimate source of Truth is asking God directly. I am a Christian, and the Living Jesus Christ is my Lord & Savior. All claims of truth I investigate go through many tests, the ultimate being asking God directly. Humans are not my savior. No text is my savior. I do not worship any text or man, nor hold them up on a pedestal. Every fiber of my being goes to God for final test.

Almost always Jesus would say ' it is written " he quoted scripture nearly every time he spoke .

More than “a specific few,” I’m afraid.
My original point was that Jesus regularly would quote scripture. Your point is irrelevant because Christians shouldn't be going around saying " but I say to you " . There's a reason Jesus has the authority to say such a thing.

And the Bible says that Jesus gave all authority to us. We all weigh scripture (if we’re conscientious)
