Do innocent children go to Heaven or Hell?

The book of Romans says that everything created knows it's creator and is without excuse. What is apparent is that while the name of Christ saves it may not be incumbant that one know the proper name of God to be saved.

So, does that mean other religions could be misrepresentations of Christianity and people adhereing to those religions are really Christians but don't know it?

Describe for me your version of pagan faiths.

All of them. Norse. Greek. Roman. Celtic. All of them.

You see, I believe that all religions are nothing more than perceptions of the same truth. All are somewhat true, somewhat false and none are complete. The story about the six blind men and the elephant says it all.

And there is no hope for me. Get over it.

I knew it was too good to be true.

Listing them is not a description of them. I want to know what you see a pagan as being.

Well, historically, a pagan is anyone not of one of the Abrahamic faiths. Today's Neo-Pagans are generally people trying to recreate a religion of the past whose fundamental belief systems are mostly lost.

Does that help?

Pagans who believe and accept the God of the Bible are saved but probably worshiping incorrectly (like, who ever does that?). I would hazzard a guess that when presented with the God of the Bible they would more often than not reject Him.

But that is not what you said. I believe it was

The God of the Bible by any other name is still the God of the Bible.

Now you're saying that unless they accept the God of the Bible in name as well they are rejecting him. Trying to have your cake and eat it too?

The God of the Bible is not an animal or any of the pantheon of Roman/Greek Gods or Gaia or any God who posseses characteristics other than those of the creator of the universe and savior of mankind. This goes back to my original premise from Romans that everything created knows its creator.

How do you know primitive cultures were not yet ready to see God as we see him and instead saw him through the filters of their culture? The pantheon that they worshiped may have been nothing more than individual aspects of the same God you worship today.

So we have no one willing to say that children can go to hell, especially for the simple crime of not being a Christian. So, why do we christen children at birth? Isn't part of that to label them as a Christian so that they can get into Heaven?
I my church, we give a baby a name and a blessing, but we don't believe either of those things is necessary for the child to get to Heaven. It isn't until a child is baptized and confirmed a member of the Church (generally at the age of 8) that he is officially on the records of the Church as being a "member."

(I don't think this forum has enough Fundies to make this a really fun debate. :()
LOL! I think you're right. :D Maybe I should direct some over here from another forum I post on. They're a dime a dozen over there.

Children are born with the knowledge of good and evil and are under the curse of death because of Adam. Adam had his own sin not his descendants. There is a difference.
Could you please provide some scriptural support for the statement that children are born with the knowledge of good and evil? I'm unaware of anywhere in the Bible where are we told such a thing.
