Modi.
Then what? They wouldn't care. They say, buy the movie or don't watch it. The only motvie for copyrighting is money. So they give money to see it. Its all money.

I'm not sure it's clear in the U.S. When it comes to music CDs, RIAA argues that backing up your CDs is copyright infringement, and that if something happens to your CD you can always buy another one.I would like to add, in this country at least, it IS legal to make ONE backup copy of a DVD movie you own in case the original is lost or stolen, but the backup must be stored securely away and never used unless the aforementioned events occur.

For the small people, i see why copyright is there, i cant blame em. But the biggies need it so no-one profits of them.
....If you have a link to the article then I would be very interested. ......
The Lord said it best in this LDS inspired scripture. It's all about the money, that is a fact!I agree! Nutshell doesn't see this, however. We are forking out money while they make billions, fair?!
And you came to this conclusion how?By that reasoning, I should already own every CD and DVD that I never downloaded.
I think they have permission from the car manufacturer. Or maybe the open sourced the blue-prints. They would be ****** off if it was a car they released this year.Seems legal to me.
mp3 files don't. (normally)Watermelons copy themselves.
Anybody can grow a watermelon. The farmer is simply saving you time. I doubt you could create a blockbuster movieIf I grow my own watermelon I am taking a sale from a farmer.
Exactly. Its the time it takes to cultivate the plant which is why you are being charged. The farmer saves you time. It is not the physical melon he charges you for, it is the time it takes to produce said melon. It takes a great deal of time and effort to record a songAs for copying a movie, it's easily done with a computer. The poor farmer, however, doesn't have millions of dollars to sue everyone who wants to plant their own garden. Farming does take alot of time, hard work, and financial investment.
Horse****What pirating can do for people is give them a chance to share their music and movie collection with others so we can all sample what we like and know what CD or movie is worth paying for.
Because you pay for the content that the cable company gives you (presumably)I work for a cable company, and have a DVR that was provided to me by them and that any customer with digital cable can have. I can record any movie or TV show I want in digital format and watch it whenever I want. It even has a USB port on the back to hook up a computer and make backups. Is the cable company not file sharing? Is this no different than recording a song off the radio or downloading it off the net? How is a DVR or Tivo not illegal but file sharing is?
I doubt you could make a CD from scratch either.I could never create a watermelon from scratch even if I were a biologist. All I can do is make copies by planting seeds and watering them. My computer can rip a CD into any format I want easily.
Talent and time. That is what you pay for when you buy a movie or song.Talent. I have no musical ability whatsoever and that's the main thing stopping me from taking another's idea and building on it.

The Steven Spielbergs of Hollywood dont lose much from us.
The point is, i would not have seen it, or bought (unless its AMAZING) it in the first place.
Finally! An admission that even the books boys suffer some injury. Do you think it's OK to steal from the rich? Can you break into their homes and take something if the rich person doesn't "lose much????"
And yet you still get the benefit of it?
You're getting something for nothing - and that's wrong.
Im not stealing at all. They would not have got it in the first place. It happens because i have the resources to see these movies.
Once again... If i didn't have the resources i wouldn't watch the movies at all. I would just, watch a trailer and thats enough.:sarcastic:cover:
I never downloaded Beowulf, i streamed it... I never download films. I know pirating is stealing. Its also an exagguration
The spelling bit, im sorry, that was terrible, should have got that right. I got something for nothing, right, i consider that luck. I like something for nothing. If someone offers me a pot of gold for no reason for free, would you take it? I would.
