Does The Bible Contain Errors And Contradictions

Or, we must consider, someone made up your assertions to mislead you.
A intellectual being cannot just come up with assumptions like that. You know just randomly come up with "you too" kind of Tu Quoque type of logical fallacies. Ad hominem. In fact, your whole post is the epitome of ad hominem. Logically fallacious.

If you could linguistically prove I am wrong and someone just "made up" the assertion, then I will accept. So go ahead. You would absolutely fail.

And if you could linguistically prove that your assertion (copied below) had any real-world validity -- i.e. that it was not written by a human being but could be reliably shown to have some other provenance -- then I might also accept. But you cannot do that. Go ahead and try -- you will absolutely fail.
That's wrong linguistically. Who ever taught you this has no idea.

The Qur'an has Asshaitan and Shaitan. Nakeerah and Maarifah. One is definite which means it's referring to an actual being, and the other could be interpreted as what you are stating.

Sorry brother. Someone made that up and mislead you.

I will never believe there is a Satan, never, but I don't want to argue about it because I might say something I will be sorry for.

Yes, God knows the heart of each one of us. There are commandments These were specific in their application. Now of course there are those of various religious ideas who say it's mythical, but nevertheless it is in the holy scriptures. Part of those commandments would be found at Exodus chapter 20. Also @Subduction Zone .

There are commandments In the Bible. Do you ever read it? There are, of course, the Ten Commandments.

I see. There are surely those who kill others out of religious hatred, or zeal, however they would put it -- would you feel their viewpoints are disgusting?

Yes Friend .. as you say " God knows your heart " .. which is unfortunate for you because he does not think much of your wicked worthless heart and soul -- God's' words .. not mine .. God would sooner wipe the completely wicked and worthless humans off the face of the map rather than look at one .. a big mistake .. regrets ever creating such a wicked and worthless thing . and in fact did try to wipe them all out .. fortunately one of the other Gods stepped in and saved a few humans .. felt sorry for them .. you know the rest of that story.

There are more than 10 Commandments True .. and . more than one set of 10 commands .. and they are not the same.. Different God .. different covenant .. different command. This is why some say the Bible contradicts itself saying you have the same God saying two different things .. but it is not a contradiction because it is not the same God . One God says do X .. the other says do (Not X) There is no contradiction if you have different Gods.

For example .. the tablets placed in to the Ark of the Covenant Exodus 34 .. are not the tablets / 10 commandments from Exodus 20 .. different covenant .. different God .. one named YHWH .. the other the Evil twin whose name is Jealous .. .. don't want to cross that one.. nasty .. this God's 10 commands completely different than the other .. and of course neither represent the God of the Covenant of Jesus .. yet a differnt God ..

Your comment on killing others out of religious hatred is odd . "would you feel their viewpoint disgusting " you ask >? when I think it is you who needs be answering that question .... as one of the above Gods Commands the killing of others out of religious hatred .. So .. do you view this god of the Bible as disgusting ?

It's your prerogative to not believe what the Qur'an says. I am only stating what the terms mean and the impossibility of turning an actual being as I clearly explained with the language itself into a metaphorical. What you are doing is superimposing your personal preference "I will never believe" onto God's word as a Bahai you also believe it to be. You could do some research on actual Arabic lexicons and linguistic studies to verify if you do consider epistemic responsibility is important.

Yet. It's still your prerogative. No offense intended. Have a great day Traiblazer.

Maybe this one?…..

James 1:27

How many religions are “without spot from the world”?
— James 4:4 ; 1 John 2:15-17
I can go along with James 1:27 as good advice and agree once again James had a good handle on the message of God through Christ. However, it is not a commandment, nor does it specify a particular religion as The True Religion. It just helps identify one attribute of true faith in God. Followers of many various religions display this attribute, including many of no religion. A good example of God quietly working in one's heart, yes?

So wait a minute. Didn't the prophet(s) you believe in also claim a belief in the Bible? I don't know, so that's why I'm asking you. Thank you.

No, it is not my personal preference, it is what it says in the Baha'i Writings.
Muslims believe in Satan literally because It looks a lot like that in the Qur'an, just like it looks like that in the New Testament.
Baha'u'llah broke the the seals broken on terms like Satan so we are now able to know that there is no real entity such as Satan.

I already told you that Baha'is believe in the Bible, although we have various views about the Bible.

Although Bahá'ís universally share a great respect for the Bible, and acknowledge its status as sacred literature, their individual views about its authoritative status range along the full spectrum of possibilities. At one end there are those who assume the uncritical evangelical or fundamentalist-Christian view that the Bible is wholly and indisputably the word of God. At the other end are Bahá'ís attracted to the liberal, scholarly conclusion that the Bible is no more than a product of complex historical and human forces. Between these extremes is the possibility that the Bible contains the Word of God, but only in a particular sense of the phrase 'Word of God' or in particular texts. I hope to show that a Bahá'í view must lie in this middle area, and can be defined to some degree.

Oh I did that already to the post you replied with an odhominem. Go back and read and read up on the words I have quoted there.
Ad hominem?

I read the words -- quotes from others who merely express their own opinions are evidence of nothing except their opinions and your ability to quote. Why do so many people have such a hard time undestanding the meaning of "evidence?"

You once inspired me to reexamine my former Christian indoctrinational beliefs about Satan and demons, which led me to reject both.

So I thank you for that.

So the Bahai writings are your personal preference which you impose upon the Qur'anic text which you "ALSO" believe is God's word. Which refutes the assertion.

the rest of your post is irrelevant to the point.

I do not impose anything on any text.
I simply believe what I believe.

You are free to believe whatever you want to believe as am I. That is what fr will is all about.

Various views -- does that mean that some Bahai's believe Satan is a real person and some do not? So how are they united, per se?

to be honest, some things don't make sense to me. For instance, ostensibly you believe Bahaullah or someone (the Bab maybe/) was the incarnation or embodiment of whatever -- yet Muslims believe that Mohammed was the last prophet. Correct me if I'm wrong about this, thank you. And it seems you really don't care what anyone else believe, is that true?
