Being religious, doesn't mean one believes in God.
It just means that they have beliefs or opinions.

The fact that you have a belief in being honest and truthful and that you abide by that belief shows that you are a religious person.

Right. You're playing with the meanings of words. You can do that, of course, but don't forget it and that you'll reach conclusions that don't make sense unless you're in on the game.
