First time hearing about the Virgin Mary

Christians are telling me she was a virgin.

Others are saying it's a story and only the meaning matters.

Others are saying Virgin meant unmarried.

Others said her husband did not believe her and God had to show him.

Four conflicting Christian views, no wonder it's confusing, Christians are not even agreeing with each other, now if her husband did not believe her despite her so called perfection, why would I believe it without gods help.

It's all the greatest hoax and story ever told.

None of it is literal and historical.

A virgin woman in text is a pure and non-defiled mind.

A pure and non-defiled mind will give birth to seeds of wisdom. (Jesus)

You just make all this stuff up as you go?

If you ever reformated your mind by downloading your pure/non-defiled utility files.... your mind would give birth to all sorts of wisdom. I promise, you would then understand and be aware.

I don't have much faith that you'll ever destroy your own current mental perceptions though. You'd have to do that yourself.

I don't make up my own theology, I don't use imagination as a tool to make stuff up.

I study theology at an academic level and place it into proper context to the people who wrote it.

You simply display a sever lack of biblical education with your post.

The texts aren't for the academic.

The good news according to Matthew is Matthews inner transformation of experience. His own subjective personal transformation within.

You're clearly very also deceived by taking these texts academically and historically.

Until you've experienced the radical altering of mind and heart, you'll just stay blinded to being aware of what they mean due to not experiencing such within yourself.

Until you've increased in awareness and wisdom as the place of the skull (temple/mind) you will not have perception to see or know.

False. Academia teaches people how to understand the text, to stop people like you from applying inane or made up definitions.

False. You have no clue what your even talking about.

Your own reply is not even making any coherent argument.

Stop your rhetoric, and supply credible source to back your statements.

Academia is of the intellect. If you're not ready to go beyond the intellect, so be it. Go ahead scholar, keep teaching mythology as academic history. Some are beyond those false perceptions. You have too much emotionally invested in your perceptions.

One who always wishes to argue only burns themselves. No self-control.

No thank you, academia isn't all that there is, and if you don't know your inner self... seek the light source. I can't prove my experience to you, neither can you prove Matthew, Mark, or Luke's inner experience.

I have the inner source and all the inner evidence that "I" need.

You're still found wandering and wanting exterior/academic evidence for internal human experience... not very rational.

He is different because He is the Son of God, Saviour and Lord. He died and resurrected.

What do you mean? Did you believe that the narratives in the Bible about Jesus--is true life story of Jesus--as those event happened?o_O

Thanks
Jesus wasn't the only Messiah/Son of God, though, as the terms are used for others as well.

Not only that, but others died and were brought back to life and two people SKIPPED DEATH COMPLETELY. How can Jesus claim to conquer death if others could just become immortal?

The texts aren't for the academic.
Ah, but keeping academia away only serves to promote selfish teachings amongst the uneducated rabble. There's a reason the Church tried to avoid "vulgar" translations ... God forbid we should read it ourselves instead of the people we were paying to be experts in it.

That's the best way for anyone who may find wisdom and value buried within them. . read and rid of all conditioned perceptions without relying upon anyone else or even ones own mind. It's a book about the metaphysical human being.

Sure, they will want people entering their church buildings for money rather than one entering within their own church(human body). Ultimately, no ones fault but the one who keeps entering. They shut people out from entering within themselves(meditation/still mind)

Academia, many church buildings, pastors/priests/reverands, etc. . it's usually always about money.

It's no different than teachers or theologians in colleges, etc. teaching people that myths are literal history and stealing people's money for teaching lies.

This reply only shows you don't know what your talking about. Your literally lost here.

Its all wrong, and you should at least know what your talking about before making factually wrong replies.

Stop your rhetoric, and supply credible source to back your statements.

The burden of proof is on you pal, I'm not claiming any of them are exoteric or historical facts.

I understand that you have a ton of vested emotional interest in teaching them that way, it's part of your career in which financially supports you.
