Holes in the trinity

Both mesh perfectly and harmonize perfectly with no exclusions, mysteries, or contradictions whatsoever.
No. They don't.
There are mostly mistranslated versions of the Christian Greek scriptures. In fact, there are only two or three that are not adulterated.
B.S.
Most of the Bibles used today stem from a moronic pagan Emperor in the early fourth century.
No. They don't. For example, the NRSV stems from the LXX, which is Pre-Jesus, and the NT stems from codices that predate Constantine.
I am a very busy man. In fact, I am about to leave for the bank and Costco.
Because Costco is infinitely more important that saving souls...
The real translation is: "I can't really read Hebrew, so I can't debate you on that level."
Then I have to prepare for teaching this evening, which will take most of the afternoon.
"Teaching." That's rich. Goebbels "taught" people, too.
I haven't got time to do what you propose, nor is there any reason for it.
"Truth" is a pretty good reason...
I know what I need to know and teach what I need to teach. Leave it at that.
Problem is, you don't know the bible or church history, which is "what you need to know."
I see no benefit in doing what you ask of me whatsoever.
...Because it would expose you.
there isn't a wit of benefit in it.
...Because it would refute what you're vomiting here.

So basically you talk big, but not able to put your money where your mouth is. No problem. I understand you're a very busy man. But you're not going to in any debates that way here.
I think you hit the nail right on the head here. It's obvious he hasn't really studied the bible scholastically; he keeps referring to the "original scrolls" of the NT, not realizing that there are no "originals," and that they aren't contained in "scrolls." He's never parsed out any Hebrew or Greek terms, and he can't differentiate between translations of the bible and state where they're sourced. I think you've adequately won the debate with "You talk big, but can't put your money where your mouth is."

I'm sorry you've had to endure the anti-semitism spouted here.

He'll learn. Or he won't.
I haven't really been following the thread other than the people that responded to me. So I haven't noticed any antisemitism if there was.

You know -- the whole "Jews don't really know God and are not God's people, and God will have nothing to do with them" thing. It's such self-righteous entitlement, and it demeans Judaism. I think he's "the Teacher" now, and is through with learning. But I hope I'm wrong about that.

That's not antisemitism, that's just stupidity. It doesn't bother me at least.

Why do you assume it would be to my benefit? I think it will be beneficial for you to go through it with me so that I can correct your mistakes.
My you are presumptious. I assure you, I have made no mistakes.

And this coming from one who makes the fatal mistake of disregarding the inspired Christian Greek scriptures, and the New Covenant, and many commands from Jehovah and from Jesus. Correct my mistakes? You think I've made some, but you don't know I've made any because you refuse to acknowledge the Christian Greek scriptures as being inspired by Jehovah. You won't even spell Jehovah's title, God. Come on! You make pretense at worrying about the straw in my eye when there is a rafter stuck in yours. Hypocrite!

I don't know if its occurred to you, but a strong argument could be made that you are guilty of exactly what you're claiming about me...

Anyways, you're talking a lot but you're not bringing anything worthwhile to the table. So unless you have something else to add besides your drivel about the NT, I'll be moving on.

The only ones who could make such an argument are thoroughly uninformed and have no love for Jehovah at all, but lyingly claim to. From what you've posted, I can compare your spiritual maturity to one still in diapers.

And what would that "fatal mistake" be? Oh! I get it! You're lambasting a non-Christian for nor not accepting Christian scripture. Which is tantamount to a Muslim lambasting you for not accepting the Koran.

We all know you've made some, because your claims are neither 1) reasonable or 2) supportable.
You won't even spell Jehovah's title, God.
You won't even call God by God's proper name.
Hypocrite!

...Because you're right, and incapable of being misled, like Every. Other. Person on the face of the earth... God put us all here, gave us all minds with which to think, and out of those billions of human beings, you are the only one who is unquestionably, unfailingly right -- and right with God. Because for you, faith is all about "God and Me." Forget all that unimportant crap Jesus taught about loving each other and being in community with each other. That's just some "mistranslation" by "misled" people who don't "love" God, put in some bible that, somehow, isn't a "real" bible.

Hubris is a sin, you know.

Now Tumah, Sojourner is a very nasty responder on this debate site. Full of vile comments and denegrates anyone who doesn't agree. Contrary to what she and you said, I have never posted one iota of anti semetic content, ever. If one disagrees, it doesn't mean antisemetism. In claiming that it does, means you aren't honest. your lack of spiritual maturity is what causes your problem here. It's not a denegrating comment, but heartfelt counseling. Since accepting counseling is not something you are able to do, then the problem is still yours. You refuse to investigate what you claim are "my mistakes", when the mistakes are yours. What I posted is completely, totally accurate down to the last punctuation point and you know it. Your pride, and lack of humility is what's preventing an honest look see on your part. I truly wish you would do some personal investigation and see that what I said is correct and is only intended to benefit you. Since you refuse, I can offer nothing else. I've done my job.

Methinks you speak of yourself.
Contrary to what she and you said
She??? My wife might be dismayed to discover that...
It's not a denegrating comment, but heartfelt counseling. Since accepting counseling
"Counseling" isn't indicated in a debate situation -- and certainly not from one who isn't trained and certified to provide it.
You refuse to investigate what you claim are "my mistakes", when the mistakes are yours.
I've not noticed that he's made any mistakes. He knows his texts in the Hebrew.
What I posted is completely, totally accurate down to the last punctuation point and you know it.
If he knew it, he'd be agreeing with you.

Interesting comment. Sojourner and I have disagreed on many points of doctrine in the past, and I've never found him to be a "very nasty responder... full of vile comments."

Since you refuse, I can offer nothing else. I've done my job.
Please tell us this means you're done here.

Well, sojourner hasn't been nasty with you, but has been EXTREMELY nasty with me. And telling you I'm done is wishful thinking. Who in the wide world of sports are you to ask me to tell you I am done here? It seems that truth is something that a lot of people don't like to confront, and it seems you are included.

I know, we all have. We're just a bunch of hypocrites and heathens who don't really love God. And you've just been nothing but patient and kind and loving in reminding us of this.

Just checking to see if I'd understood you correctly. Apparently not.

Seriously, I can't help but wonder if you've even tried to see yourself from everyone else's perspective. Have you ever stopped to consider that it's entirely possibly to disagree with someone without being his enemy? Here is some sincere advice for you: Try treating people like you'd like them to treat you. You would be surprised at the results.

Please re-read my last post. I was revising it as you were replying to it. And I wasn't particularly trying to to be amusing.
Look, rejecting Jehovah God's son, any of God's inspired word including the Christian Greek scriptures, failiing to do the entire will of God, adhering to His commands and those of His son, clearly means that one does NOT love Jehovah God. One cannot claim to love Him and only take bits and pieces of His messages for us and commands for us. It's ALL or NOTHING. No in between. You either love Him and do ALL He requires, or you don't love Him. One cannot pick and choose, otherwise that one is a hypocrite. All the complaining and arguing in the world cannot change any of these facts.

The word used in Philippians is morphen -- becoming in the likeness of humans.
I dont know where you got that one. Your taking God and making Him change into Jesus. Not Good. Plus, that doesnt even make sense. But anyhow....

Morphen is Strong's 3444 It means - form, shape, outward appearance. That makes alittle more sense now doesnt it? Jesus is the Son of God. God is the God and Father of Jesus. David is also his father. So, I really dont understand why you keep on bringing this word incarnate in. lol

Well, what do you think the word "moprh" means?? The Greek text doesn't lie.
Additionally, in John 1, the Word -- which was God -- became flesh and lived among us. To "become flesh" is to... well... incarnate.
Again, no it doesnt. The "Word" is God's Word or the Word of God. His plans, thoughts, reasons. The "logos". Now in verse 14 God's Word becomes flesh. Jesus is God's Word made flesh.

Apparently, according to the texts, God does change. Again, God's "unchangeability" has less to do with God's form than it does with God's love for us -- God's relationship with us.
God does not change.

No, I'm merely reiterating what the texts tell us -- chiefly that God became Incarnate.
You believe that because your told that at your church. God did not become incarnate.
