Yes
Oh how I love the Word of God!
It is NOT love then. That doesn't help me, because people who don't hate God sin all the time.

But it doesn't say that there are "two different gods."The trinity doctrine says that God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit are SEPARATE and DISTINCT. Distinct even means different.
Go ahead and post the definition of the trinity.
He also said that he would be with us to the close of the age. And that wherever two or more were gathered, he would be there.Jesus said that if we obey what he teaches then he will be with us. See John 14:23.
God says to stone adulterers, too. I'm not doing that anytime soon.God says to hate what is evil.
Jesus says he will be with us if we obey him.OK. So are you saying we need not "teach and preach" as Matthew 28:19, 20 says?
Evil and sin are overcome by loving God with one's heart and soul and mind, and loving one's neighbor as oneself.Evil and sin are overcome by obeying Jesus. Jesus says to hate what is evil.
There is a new covenant. New Covenant means New Testament. Through Jesus, we can find mercy and forgiveness.God says to stone adulterers, too. I'm not doing that anytime soon.
People sin. And those same people love God."all the time" no! Tell me with truer words what you mean please.
Sure it is! Do you love God? I bet you say you do. Do you sin? Yes!It is NOT love then.
'K. Have you sold all your goods, given all the proceeds to the poor? No? Clearly that falls under the new covenant. There is a new covenant. New Covenant means New Testament. Through Jesus, we can find mercy and forgiveness.
Please, listen carefully...we do NOT love God if we are not obeying. Obeying God IS loving God.Evil and sin are overcome by loving God with one's heart and soul and mind, and loving one's neighbor as oneself.
That is what someone without understanding thinks Jesus wants us all to do. Jesus does not tell us to do that.'K. Have you sold all your goods, given all the proceeds to the poor? No? Clearly that falls under the new covenant.
I do not live in sin. I live through the Spirit, which is by obedience to Christ.Sure it is! Do you love God? I bet you say you do. Do you sin? Yes!
A sin is a mistake. I was talking about hate but you sure know how to change track.People sin. And those same people love God.
But you do sin.I do not live in sin. I live through the Spirit, which is by obedience to Christ.
Not always.A sin is a mistake.
Yes, but why not get back on track? Not always.
Coolcoolcoolcool. Where were we?Yes, but why not get back on track?
Coolcoolcoolcool. Where were we?
Seems a rather more grim outlook than is necessary. One can either choose to 1) love God or 2) hate evil.
Do you think it is not possible to love God AND hate evil? The JWs teach that God hates sin and uses Proverbs 6:16-19 to prove it. What do YOU think?
God is love. When there is love, there is no hate.
I have posted the scripture that they say says God hates originally was written "hates God". They don't believe me. Are we to ignore that scripture altogether or what, according to you?
I think we have to weigh it against what else we know and believe about God. Does this passage inform us or our faith? Does it help or hinder our spiritual freedom?
