Ok, I understand now go away.
NEVER!
As much as you'd like it, religeous types will never silence the truth. Hopefully, with enough education, the truth will eventually silence religeon!

Again, what makes you think that you are in a position to know the difference? From what I can see, you are no more qualified than anyone else to know the difference. Everyone who pursues a religious faith claims to know the truth. How do you know that you are any different from those who are merely self-deluded?
People who have faith/religious beliefs are self-deluded? Can you elaborate please.
Faith demonstrates a lack of practical and demonstratable logic. There's no difference between faith and delusion because faith is (in harsh terms) a delusion of observable reality.
I was asking Copernicus, not you.
They most certainly can be.People who have faith/religious beliefs are self-deluded? Can you elaborate please.
You have to have faith to begin with. And practice it
But faith is not a virtue. In fact, I would argue that it is a vice. Faith encourages credulity, ignorance and gullibility and discourages rationality and reason.

You have to have faith to begin with. And practice it
That is what people call a cop-out, you know.
Thats taking a logic-less leap of faith.
Oh wait sorry i'm hijacking another post now you can rather rudely once again tell me to butt out
The question was directed at Copernicus for specific reasons. You did try and hijack the thread
I don't agree. I've read bits and parts of the Philokalia and what you're saying is the opposite of what faith produces in the form of virtue.
Then what does faith produce that is a virtue?
holiness.
Having faith in God is a cop-out? elaborate please.
