Faith-confidence in what we hope for (Hebrews 11)
It was cultural. It stems from a time when it was dangerous for a women to be alone in the desert.
I visited Yemen not long ago, and many of the men still wore daggers.
[like cowboys wore guns]

..another cultural issue.
You seem to be good at mixing up culture with religion.
In fact, the Qur'an expressly forbids women to wear face coverings when on pilgrimage.
This implies that Arab ladies wore veils before the advent of Muhammad SAW
Are you saying that culture and religion are not intertwined? Please elaborate if you will.

Someone did ask a good question as to why men do not wear face coverings. Any idea why women are commanded in some Islamic majority lands culturally of course
to wear face coverings? And not men? I really have not checked about pilgrimages and no face coverings for women. It implies you say that Arab women wore face coverings before Muhammad? So? Maybe that was a cultural command what do you think?

What do I know about face coverings?

A veil is an article of clothing or hanging cloth that is intended to cover some part of the head or face, or an object of some significance. Veiling has a long history in European, Asian, and African societies. The practice has been prominent in different forms in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The practice of veiling is especially associated with women and sacred objects, though in some cultures it is men rather than women who are expected to wear a veil. Besides its enduring religious significance, veiling continues to play a role in some modern secular contexts, such as wedding customs.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm from Mars, not Venus.
Who knows why women do what they do. You've probably got some idea. ;)

As far as Islam goes, some Muslims equate verses in the Qur'an instructing the Prophet's wives to discuss with men from "behind a screen" in their private dwellings, with face coverings.
Personally, I don't see it.
What women do in private and public settings are not at all the same.

I wouldn't expect you to be.
The feminist agenda is not part of Islam.

Muslim men acknowledge this, and so do Muslim women.
Good Muslim women want to marry a good Muslim man.
etc.
Any good woman hopes to marry a good man. I might get back to this later.

Oh I meant face coverings, not head veils. So you're saying you don't know about that?

No. That is just a tactic of satan.
satan and those that follower him, want to make it all about sex equality etc.

The original post bringing it up..

Of course, this proves that Islam is a bad religion .. yes?
Of course it doesn't. What is right for one nation is not right for another.

I would rather live without women, than be surrounded by feminists. :D
Satan prevents women culturally from driving? Or did?
