This ain’t heaven princess.
Let’s take an individual who became paraplegic by a drunk driver. Let’s say they were depressed for a long time, got into drugs etc. then they turned their life around and started to view there life as a blessing and started to be positive and happy. Let’s say they viewed life as heaven. Would you tell them no it isn’t?

Identifying with paradise, viewing the world through rose colored glasses is a part of the journey. As is undermining that connection in order to move forward in the narrative (think of Odysseus resisting the Sirens). This thread is about moving forward.

Let’s take an individual who became paraplegic by a drunk driver. Let’s say they were depressed for a long time, got into drugs etc. and they never turned their life around. Let’s say they viewed life as hell. Would you tell them no it isn’t?
