Still not proof, just a claim

Faith-confidence in what we hope for (Hebrews 11)
In the long or short run, God wins. The Bible is evidence of that. That humans can see the possibility of enjoying life is not beyond reason. And enjoying life forever. Birds are generally short-lived, although they can be beautiful and amusing and, I suppose, fascinating for some. I am sure they do not contemplate why they are alive -- or if there is a higher power -- or if the universe "created itself." (lol) And good morning!

He said the universe "needed to exist"? I love it...lol again...
Actually... That quote is just lenox who claims hawking said it.

What I love is how people as yourself expose their extremely low standard of evidence whenever ANYTHING is said that confirms what they like / want to believe.
But they'll demand impossible amounts of evidence when something is said that contradicts their a priori beliefs.

That is what is truly "lol".

Lightly seared on the reality grill.
Dr. Hawking (sorry about leaving out the final g) figured and said that the universe could start out from nothing. Zilch. Nothing. He said something can come from -- zero. nothing.
Hawking's original idea was the 'no-boundary' proposal that basically did away with a start all together. In simple terms time becomes space very near to where there would have been a start.

What is the point you think you are making with those bird statements?

Yes, Lennox made that silly quote. He never showed that it was an accurate claim about the work of Hawking. In other words it appears to be a strawman fallacy.
