It was began by the speaker as a bogus conspiracy theory. For several years he was in character in public as a person that believed that birds were fake. He even got it recognized on major news sources as a genuine conspiracy theory. He has some actual good information on why people become conspiracy theories and reasonable situations on how to reason with them.
Haven't you even been to Disney's Hall of Presidents? Seriously do you think that anything but a robot could make the shots that he can make?

I split the difference by doing something not as important as the 1st option but doing it rather than procrastinating. Then I rewarded myself with green tea and a Trader Joe's "brookie".
