MY UNDERSTANDING OF SCRIPTURE IS ACCURATE, IT'S NOT DISTORTED IN ANY WAY. The Hebrew scriptures were MOSTLY written in Hebrew; the Christian Greek scriptures were MOSTLY written in Greek. All English translations are TRANSLATIONS, which in many cases does involve interpretation, thus, making them FALSE TRANSLATIONS. Look at the KJV for example. It's a mess, and does not adhere to accuracy. It's a translation made from OTHER TRANSLATIONS, to satisfy a king and a parliament, not God. Not God's people. You said I make claims that are outside of the generally accepted truth, but no, they're outside the generally accepted TEACHINGS. That doesn't make them truthful. I don't NEED to back up anything. You've done your research, and yet you still come to the wrong understanding of most scriptures. And yes, you do play games. Interpreting scriptures is a game. It's not scholarly, it's stupid. It NEVER causes one to arrive at the truth of the scriptures, it only causes one to arrive at GUESSES as to what they say. What I post is EXACTLY the truth of the scriptures. How I arrive at that is my concern, not any one elses. If you have a problem with it, forget it, research it, or shut up.

Your approach to the texts is irresponsible without much basis in reality. I do have a problem with it, because it's irresponsible, and I will refute it wherever it rears its ugly head.

Probably not. I spend a lot of time looking over and editing other stuff-I am a writer, and I'm schooled in five different style guides-so I tend to take it easy here.
I'd also make sure I myself had flawless grammar and spelling in my own post before criticizing another; it really looks bad to criticize mistakes while making them yourself to criticize a mistake.
And you still cannot see what it is that any of us have been trying to tell you.

Last time I looked, bells were made of brass and not clear in the least. Plus they make a lot of noise that, when said and done, really doesn't amount to a whole lot.

I was merely trying to attack this issue from 1137's level. While I do not agree that homosexuality is any kind of "affliction" or "defect," but, instead, merely a difference, I wanted to show that, even according to his or her own logic, homosexuality should be embraced.

There is no "one true church". Jesus called it the "one true faith". And it's not nonsense. I've never said "how right I am and how false everyone else is". You make things up, change things to support your useless argument, and invent things claiming I said them. I indicated that religions are false, as the scritures tell us, and that they, and their participants will be destroyed in the final battle. You disagree. Take it up with God, He said it.
