Since Baha'u'llah came there has already been two World Wars. Does Baha'u'llah really specify a third World War?
No, He did not. That is simply a personal opinion that some Baha'is hold, maybe even a wish.

“We have a fixed time for you, O peoples. If ye fail, at the appointed hour, to turn towards God, He, verily, will lay violent hold on you, and will cause grievous afflictions to assail you from every direction. How severe, indeed, is the chastisement with which your Lord will then chastise you!”

Nobody except God knows when the appointed hour is and nobody knows if humanity has failed.
"If ye fail, at the appointed hour, to turn towards God" means that when that was written humanity still had a chance to avoid the severe chastisement.

"....Fear God, and follow not your desires which have altered the face of creation..." Bahá’u’lláh, The Proclamation of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 74

"...Follow not the promptings of the self, for it summoneth insistently to wickedness and lust..." Bahá’u’lláh, The Kitab-i-Aqdas, p. 41
When I was first told about the Baha'i Faith back at fireside meetings in the 70's, the message was always positive. The Baha'is made a big deal about differentiating themselves from Christianity that always made people out to be hopeless, unworthy sinners. It looks like the reality of the Baha'i Faith is that they feel the same way. People and their desires are evil.

But we all have desires, some are evil, some are greedy and some are to help others, especially friends and family. And I don't believe there is one person who is ever going to be so perfect as to not have some desires that they pursue and live for that religions like Christianity and the Baha'i Faith aren't going to make them feel guilty for not being "holy" enough.

All the Baha'is I've known followed some of their own desires. Some were "evil", some were just things we all do. We all choose to do things everyday that benefit only us and our specific needs.

But some religions can't have that. They want people to give it all to this God of theirs. I saw a Baha'i leave his wife to go pioneering rather than stay with her. He got the "bug" to go "serve" the Faith in some foreign land. She wanted to stay in the U.S. How "evil" and selfish and ungodly of her.
There is only One God, there is no other force but that of Good. Evil is just lack of that good.

"..Every good thing is of God, and every evil thing is from yourselves. Will ye not comprehend?..." Bahá’u’lláh, Gleanings from the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 149
But is that what older religions taught? Especially Christianity? Maybe it's true. Maybe it isn't. But to most Christians there is an evil force. If that belief isn't true, then why did this one and only good force allow the people that wrote the Christian Scriptures to say otherwise?

Yeah, yeah, I know the typical Baha'i answer... They were being metaphorical. Yeah, well it wasn't taken that way. So, thanks God for not being clear enough.

Things people all do, like getting divorced when a spouse no longer suits you. Baha'is are not supposed to get divorced unless they have an aversion for each other, but I highly doubt that is the only reason they get divorced, judging by the high divorce rate. Actually I prefer Christianity's "till death do us part" although Christians don't follow that either.

Interesting... set national boarders? What will people decide on what will be the borders of Russia? Even with the United States... We took over the land of the Native people. We bought, invaded, annexed or whatever it took to get the lands that make up the various states.

But, of course, people will be much more loving and kind then and not greedy and territorial... right.
We will have to wait to see what boarders are set CG, the point is, had this been settled, then no Nation would dare attack another.

We can not change the actions of those that dominated in the past, we can heal by recognising these injustices and working with each other for the future, greed will be a very undesirable vice.

Yeah, greed had a lot to do with borders and strong, powerful nations making colonies out of weaker nations.... mainly to exploit them and their resources. Like Rodney Dangerfield said, "No respect."

It was still within the lifetime of Baha'u'llah that the U.S. continued to take over the land of the Native people. And religion played a huge role in how we dealt with them. They were demonized and considered inferior, and their language, culture and religions were banned. And their children were forced to learn Christianity.

Ironically, we now are a powerful force in the world keeping other nations from doing the same thing to other people and nations.

It's not the past CG, it's time to make the future, based on the oneness of humanity.

..and that's because you spew verses without knowledge, thinking that what you quote
is in agreement with "your lot's" creed.
G-d knows best who is responsible for death and destruction.
Every soul will bear the responsibility of their sin on the day of reckoning.
My "lot's creed" as you call it is: the Holy Scriptures - 2nd Timothy 3:16-17 - Authored by God
Yes, God knows best who is responsible for death and destruction -> aka Satan the Devil - John 8:44; Hebrews 2:14 B
Like Adam and Eve every soul bears their own responsibility ..... on the 'day of reckoning' aka Matthew 25:31-34,37,40
The 'sheep' will remain here to see calendar Day One of Jesus' coming Millennium-Long Day governing over Earth for a thousand years
They can thus inherit gaining everlasting-eternal life on Earth as Jesus promised for the 'sheep' - Matthew 5:5 from Psalms 37:9-11; 22:26

Yes, until the coming Glory Time of separation on Earth takes place (Matt. 25:31-34,37,40) Nobody knows who is a sheep or a goat
The figurative 'sheep' will Not have failed

Jesus allowed for fornication (porneia) to be scriptural grounds for scriptural divorce - Matthew 19:9

Regardless of any (M.A.D.) set borders, the powers in charge will be saying, " Peace and Security......" - 1st Thess. 5:2-3
But that Rosy saying will surprisingly turn out to go up against false Christianity - Matthew 7:21-23
The lasting future rests with the genuine 'sheep' who 'work with each other for the future' in everlasting life on Earth - Matt. 25:31-34,37

And, like all the other religions with a bunch of laws, supposedly from God, will it work? Has a religion filled with a bunch of laws ever worked?
I find Jesus gave us a New Law (The Law of Christ - Galatians 6:2 ) under the New Covenant contract as found at John 13:34-35
We are to have the same self-sacrificing love for others as Jesus has
In other words, we are Now to love neighbor MORE than self, more than the old golden rule of Leviticus 19:18

Yes this is unfolding, the Baha'i Writings give a glimpse as to how this will unfold with the Lesser Peace.

Soon the present day will be rolled up and the new day rolled out in its stead, this will commence with the Lesser Peace, to be built on a world federation that will be elected from all Nations. One of the things they will attempt, is to do away with religions as the cause of the worlds conflicts. This will not work, they will then search the world religions for the one suited to the age, and it is then that the future will be built on the Principles laid down in the Laws given by Baha'u'llah.

'World Federation' / 'all nations' aka The United Nations the 8th king of Revelation 17:11
Yes, so away with the world's religions because they meddle in world affairs
They do Not search for one suited religion but will go up against all
Then, the ' sword-like words from Jesus' mouth ' will rid the world of the wicked - Isaiah 11:3-4; Revelation 19:14-15
