The Supreme Court will decide if Donald Trump can be kept off 2024 presidential ballots

One of them is right here on this forum. Don't remember the name, but they were telling me that they believed Trump was a big enough threat to the country, they would be willing the break the law and do away with law and order to get him out, no matter what.
Sounds like insurrectionist talk to me.
They were called patriots in 1775. They didn’t like being ruled without law and representation. Trump could win the electoral college but he’s never won a majority of citizen votes. We need to eliminate the EC and use a definitive democratic vote.

And now they're called terrorists (if they don't vote democrat).
As for the electoral college, you would do well to learn why we have that system in place. Why Was the Electoral College Created? | HISTORY

Did you read it? I don't think that you understood it. Most of the reasons that we had it are gone now. And the "small states need more representation" argument is dead too. What possible reason do you think that we have to continue using that outmoded method of election?

So, one person's talk is somehow equal to the mob that attacked the Capitol along with Trump's repeatedly saying before the election is that the only way he could lose is if there was voter fraud? Ya, right.

Not at all true. Which MAGAmedia gave you this disinformation?

It's obsolete in 2024.
"It's obsolete in 2024"

It is for democrats who want their large cities to decide the president. Its their way of insuring rural Americans have no voice. Without rural Americans, cities would have nothing.

"Rural America produces almost all our country’s food, as well as raw materials like metals, cotton and timber. Energy, fossil fuels but also alternatives like wind and solar come mostly from rural areas. In other words, the material inputs of modern life flow out of rural communities and into cities.

This is why Hillary Clinton lost in 2016. Instead of winning over small-town Americans, she amassed a popular vote lead based on California and a few big cities. She won those places with huge margins but lost just about everywhere else."

Just two states, NY and CA, will get a person almost a third of the electoral votes they need(83 of 270).
Those two states alone gave Clinton over a third of her 232 electoral votes she received.

Yawn. Same old right wing assertions. One person, one vote. The old reasons for the EC just don’t apply. A rural citizen has the same national interest as a city dweller.
