Trump ordered to pay nearly 355 million in NY fraud case.

As usual you are wrong. I am tired of the name calling is all. Name calling is another sign that one cannot support what one claims. I offered to answer you if you could post properly.

Or if you would be a proper interlocuter.
Oh my! Do I really have to tell you this?

That does not work when the person that you are falsely accused has been honest. That does not work when you cannot follow the rules for proper debate. Do I have to quote your post for you and get the crayons out to explain how you name called?

One may consider their own rules to be proper, another calls them dishonest. Your false narratives have you deceived into a false sense of smugness.
Meanwhile, I have been the most honest interlocking occult cute calculator you can hope to have a discussion with. :)

Has it occurred to you that other businesses follow the law?

There has been plenty of right wing disinformation that claims Trump did nothing wrong and other businesses should worry about being indicted. Fear mongering only works on the gullible.

If any businesses are going to lose income and add operating costs to escape a city that is cracking down on crime it indicates they are unlawful. Any false move might indicate they need to be investigated for crimes. The smart move for any other corrupt business is to clean house and operate lawfully, and pay the taxes and fees they owe. If they can't be successful without cheating, like Trump, then they aren't very good at business.

What's with the conservatives defending lawlessness and corruption? Is that the hill you want to die on?

Trump is in a downward spiral, and I suggest you guys jump ship before he take you down with him. It's your reputation that you live with, and it is all you have. Living with Trump's stain and stink will be a regret for many. Look at how many Jan 6 rioters turned against Trump after they had to face consequences for blind obedience.

That's a bogus claim. Maybe they are tired of the left BS just like California residents.

"Some parts of California are losing residents due to the high cost of living, politics, and crime. More than 800,000 people moved out of California between 2021 and 2022, according to the US Census Bureau"

He has an 8th amendment case for excessive fines.

How are the fines excessive?

As the article explains, the amount is just "disgorgement" - i.e. paying back his ill-gotten gains. The judge noted that Trump's frauds:

- saved Trump $168 million in interest
- enabled one land deal that yielded $126 million in profit
- enabled another land deal with $60 million in profit

Even with a $344 million judgment against him, Trump is still getting a net profit of $10 million from his crimes (unless he racks up interest from skipping out on paying the judgment).
