Well of course. If you were a businessman and you had millions of people coming to your city every year. What would you do? First build a hotel near by the whatever it is they come for so they won't to plunge the city. Right?
Yeah, so should Makkah get rid of the Kaaba like Rio should get rid of the Christ the Redeemer statue?

I must admit one thing though. Brazil has 200 million where Saudi has 30 mil. More people more competition, more competition more crime.
This doesn't really address my point.
Money is nothing but a means to reach a goal.
Visiting exotic locales with impressive views is a legitimate goal.
Uh? Are you suggesting that the Cristo Redentor is somehow a significant factor in the criminality of Rio?

Brazil has serious social and economic disparities. That is the main reason why crime is such a problem here.

My daughter once held up a children's book and pretended to red it as she looked at the pictures. Now her reading of it made total sense in context to her understanding. Was it the story? No absolutely not.
Likewise when we hold up the picture book the bible, reading the words gives one zero insight or capacity to understand it. One can have 2,000 years of writers commenting and zero insight is gained. I would say you lack the capacity to understand the underlying melody you cannot hear it you barely feel it at all. all you really have is a dissonant out of tune tone deaf make believe narrative to the melody. All atheists would agree with your tone deaf interpretation they only would disagree with its validity is all with their own tone deaf dissonant narrative. I challenge how normals expect to understand the text, which is totally impossible if being tone deaf and the incapacity to feel rhythm is NORMAL!!!

i understand that and that is what science is saying too.

Many won't, true, but people with faith that isn't horribly fragile can accept mockery as a light critique over a perhaps very valid issue. To forbid mockery or criticism is to invite an infestation of evil.
