What the New Testament says about God is true

Bahais think that "resurrection" is when the soul goes out of the body of the person who dies.
The bounty of NDE experiences that God gives some souls, which we can learn from.

The Bounty of the dream world.

Both these show us that when the body is not active or awake, the Soul is not compromised.

We have to be cautious not to try to interpret NDE or dreams, as they are notoriously difficult to interpret and much of it will come from our own nature a nurture.

The underlying themes are what we should consider, that the vast majority on NDE survivors say they never wanted to come back to their body and they nearly all offer the next world is indescribable in Love, beauty and knowledge.

This is not known as resurrection.

Yes, I believe that our body will deteriorate when we die. I do not believe the body will rise out of the grave.
This is the most absurd of all Christian beliefs. There is absolutely no evidence that any body ever rose from the grave, not even the body of Jesus.
This is what atheists refer to as mere belief.

I feel sorry for Christians who believe this because they are in for a big shock after they die, as my friend @Sgt. Pepper knows only too well.
God knows every hair on our heads.

Since Bahais do not believe in spirit creatures who have turned away from God to explore a life outside of their heavenly duties, they are easily confused when these spirits pose as dead people. They involve them in demonic rituals while spiritually corrupting them into believing that in doing so they are approaching some kind of higher knowledge and higher-level religious experiences... just like the Mormons.

Scientology is another of the cults that emerged with the same bizarre beliefs about "stations" and fictional worlds.

I assume that Bahais are also obligated to contribute their wealth to the movement. When your wealth belongs to another people, you feel obligated to stick to your leaders and their movement; it's a trap.

I may ask a Bahai what they think will happen to a no-good-enough person when s/he resurrects. The answer may surprise everyone; they are very witty on their beliefs.
Baha'is do not believe anyone resurrects, but the following passage summarizes what we believe happens to the soul after the physical body dies and the soul takes on a spiritual body.

“And now concerning thy question regarding the soul of man and its survival after death. Know thou of a truth that the soul, after its separation from the body, will continue to progress until it attaineth the presence of God, in a state and condition which neither the revolution of ages and centuries, nor the changes and chances of this world, can alter. It will endure as long as the Kingdom of God, His sovereignty, His dominion and power will endure. It will manifest the signs of God and His attributes, and will reveal His loving kindness and bounty.”

“Blessed is the soul which, at the hour of its separation from the body, is sanctified from the vain imaginings of the peoples of the world. Such a soul liveth and moveth in accordance with the Will of its Creator, and entereth the all-highest Paradise. The Maids of Heaven, inmates of the loftiest mansions, will circle around it, and the Prophets of God and His chosen ones will seek its companionship. With them that soul will freely converse, and will recount unto them that which it hath been made to endure in the path of God, the Lord of all worlds. If any man be told that which hath been ordained for such a soul in the worlds of God, the Lord of the throne on high and of earth below, his whole being will instantly blaze out in his great longing to attain that most exalted, that sanctified and resplendent station….”

Regarding heaven, if a soul is faithful to God, it will reflect His light, and will, eventually, return unto Him... This is heaven.

If it fail n its allegiance to its Creator, it will become a victim to self and passion, and will, in the end, sink in their depths... This is hell.

“Thou hast asked Me concerning the nature of the soul. Know, verily, that the soul is a sign of God, a heavenly gem whose reality the most learned of men hath failed to grasp, and whose mystery no mind, however acute, can ever hope to unravel. It is the first among all created things to declare the excellence of its Creator, the first to recognize His glory, to cleave to His truth, and to bow down in adoration before Him. If it be faithful to God, it will reflect His light, and will, eventually, return unto Him. If it fail, however, in its allegiance to its Creator, it will become a victim to self and passion, and will, in the end, sink in their depths...”

It's almost like the Tower of Babel with all these different religions and their confusing, conflicting thoughts. And of course people have killed and are being killed over their religious "differences."

That thought does not make sense. Do you believe that the soul is in the body from conception?

Surprisingly, they want to make us believe that their perception of universal reality is superior to the rest of humanity. It is typical of each of these sects that they have the same modus operandi. They all emerged at the same time, and it is not by chance.

The Bible warns about false knowledge and experiences that come from humans relating to supposed "beings of light", "ascended masters" and the like: "what sharing does light have with darkness?" (2 Cor. 6:14).

When we realize that a religious sect contradicts biblical teachings and even denies the clear teachings of Jesus, we know that it is not light they are transmitting.

2 Cor. 6:17
“‘Therefore, get out from among them, and separate yourselves,’ says Jehovah, ‘and quit touching the unclean thing’”; “‘and I will take you in.’”
18 “‘And I will become a father to you, and you will become sons and daughters to me,’ says Jehovah, the Almighty.”

And the confusion of the Tower of Babel was a good thing set upon man by God.

In one of my previous jobs I had a colleague from that religion/sect.

We didn't usually talk much because the few times we did, she had the same childish tantrums that you read around here.

For some reason beyond my understanding, the Bahais think they can compare their Persian guy to Jesus Christ and his writings to the Bible. There was no way to make her understand how ridiculous these ideas are.
When I agreed to a Bible study some time ago I was resistant. In fact I used to insult those approaching me before that. But because of my appreciation for what I learned was the application of principles, after a rather intense discussion I agreed to a Bible study. I am glad I did.

First of all be careful how you judge God's messaging techniques! Believe and live according to His calling in your heart, and help others do the same -- even if He choses a different spiritual language in His guidance of others. GOD'S WILL BE DONE. period

How do Christians see the speck of dust in other people's eyes when there is a plank in their own? In my opinion, if these judgmental Christians focused their attention on the plank in their own eye, then they wouldn't have the time to point out the speck of dust in the eyes of those they pompously judge.

Eve really thought she was being told the truth by the serpent in the Garden of Eden. He twisted what he knew. You don't have to believe that; I do. Adam knew Eve was misled yet he chose to die with her rather than align himself with God. Anyway, have a nice evening, because it's evening where I'm at. I have come to understand that what the Bible says is true. I do not claim to understand everything about it, but taking Eve into consideration, yes she believed the serpent who slyly introduced a lie to her and she fell for it.

It's a trait of humanity, generally I believe built from fear. The whole heaven and hell, one and done deal is scary enough to call "hell on earth." Personally, I believe it is a sin to believe in "sin." Right and wrong, yes, of course. But the belief in "sin" appears to cause far too many people to sin.

And your heart calls you to believe that, so do. That doesn't mean God can't use a different approach with a different heart does it? Matthew 20:15

Yes, way past my bedtime. Goodnight.

I learned that as I began to understand more about what the Bible is actually teaching. Eve was deceived. She believed the serpent and did what God said not to do. Adam was not deceived. G'night.

Moreover, I find it astonishing that you claim your religious leader regarded the Bible as a crucial source of divine wisdom and Jesus as a singular Savior, yet you deem the teachings of Jesus and the Bible, like everlasting life on earth and resurrection, "absurd".
I don't think you guys should be fighting for upmanship about what you think the Bible says. @Trailblazer does tend to be confrontational. So are you apparently.
