Your God is Not God

I don't remember forcing anything on anyone.

I am a person who has found happiness in this life which qualifies me to share what makes me happy with others.
I wonder why I have never seen anyone say that they do it because it is God's command to do it according to the Bible at Matthew 28:19?

Doing what God commands make me happy.
That is not what I meant. Of course anyone doing God's will will make them happy.

She said why do you aim to make converts and you say, "it makes me happy, doing the will of God makes me happy". Is to make converts the will of God, in your opinion?

Are you happier now?

I'm very happy, When I use Zen meditation, it calms me down, it relaxes me,it makes my senses come alive and enjoy life better.

I have a new guy friend I'm talking too, were going on a date in Mid December, hes an earthbased Wiccan, we know each others church.

It safe for me to go out with him.Hes got a good management job hes had for years.

Sharing the truth with others is the will of God, yes.

Conversion is between the person and the Holy Spirit.

I just share the message.

Awesome. I used to be able to do that before I had kids... :/

Great. That will add to your happiness.

If you don't mind my asking. What is an "earthbased" Wiccan? Are all Wiccans divided up between the elements?

I pray for your continued happiness and wish you the best of luck with your new beau.

The will of your God, it doesn't mean he's my God, and it doesn't mean I need to hear your share.

You can share but it doesn't mean we will hear it or even listen, we don't have to have your share.

You saying its Gods will, seems to insinuate we have no choice but to have your share.

Do you agree or disagree with this statement: "Your god is not god. Your god (or gods) is, at best, an approach to thinking about god (or to thinking about the gods)." If you agree with the statement, why do you agree? If you do not agree, why not?
I disagree. The one true God does not change, however much he is misrepresented and unjustly vilified. What people may think about another person does not change who that person is. I believe Jehovah is exactly who he says he is, and he wants us to know him as he really is. (1 Timothy 2:3,4)

The Bible says God does change. God is love most of the time, but sometimes God hates*. That is a change. OK?

*I do not believe it, but it is what most of the World teaches.

Thank you for recognizing that. I think it is not because God hates, it is because it is believed God hates.

Beliefs are the underlying topic here.

Why then do people "believe" god hates? Their own reasoning, reasoning of others, or reasoning of God?

Their Bible says so. Proverbs 6:16 Zechariah 8:17

Aren't holy books the manifestation of the respective Gods?

I read those passages and I don't think this can be lost in translation pertaining to the use of the word hate.

If we can not trust these passages then what else can we not trust in their bibles?
