You're certainly not alone, many individuals experience sexual fluidity.
I haven't myself, however I used to believe I was straight by default before discovering the label of asexuality (which fits me perfectly), and learning of romantic attraction which I do in fact experience towards men.
I do not feel negatively about any form of gender expression or lack thereof, being that I'm trans myself and exposed to a large variety of folks in the LGBTQ+ community.
I'm going to start visiting a local UU church myself, and personally I wouldn't see an issue with atheists doing the same. We're social creatures after all and can all benefit from the community a church provides (even if you are an introvert like myself).
I agree with much of what @Quintessence said. I don't believe the Gods have specific expectations for me, rather I think they have things they'd like me to do and not do.
If we're talking about that then they'd likely want me to not break oaths, maintain strong connections to kin, show...
