Well, to be fair, it was Egypt, which seems to be both.
Huh. That's strange; I generally hear great things about Egyptian culture.

Wow. I must say that I'm genuinely disturbed and pretty surprised at what I'm reading. Buying women? I'm aware that sexual harassment in general is a pretty big problem for some North African countries, but that's just a whole new level of disturbing.
Also, maybe it's just that I don't watch TV a lot, but this issue doesn't seem to be widely discussed in the media there. If it is as big of a problem as some stories here seem to suggest, then that would say a lot about the media's priorities these days.

Well, we shouldn't be coming over all high and mighty, since we have human trafficking here too. The women are smuggled in from outside the country by criminal organizations. It is only recently coming up in the news more. It's very deep underground in the West. Nobody is going to try to buy you from your parents on the street in Canada, but if you visit a brothel full of Mexican, eastern European or Asian women, you may be contributing to human trafficking. (For the record, brothels are illegal.)

Yes we are equal woman = men ,
Men can show their breasts and woman should show their breasts.
i'll show a man showing his breast, then i want the smart ones her to challenge me and the forum rules and equate woman to men,if you couldn't then shame on you.
Why only men can show their breasts, show me how free are you and post a woman showing her breast.

Societal standards of what is "modest" or "appropriate" are relative. Because female breasts have been frequently sexualized and portrayed in erotic contexts, many societies see showing cleavage as a sign of immodesty, inappropriateness, etc., to the point where some frown upon public breastfeeding. That doesn't mean that both genders aren't equal or that such standards of dress code are absolute; it just shows a trend that is emphasized and endorsed by the social norms and customs of many cultures.
Yes that make sense, they are equal, but..........
It's sadly illegal.
In an ideal world, we'd be able to.
Besides, from a biological standpoint, there are a few differences. But they don't matter a whole lot in the grand scheme of things.
Many countries seem to have the same issue with sex trafficking, and it's certainly not exclusive to any specific country or region. However, I'm mainly surprised because I was born in a North African country myself (Egypt) and hadn't heard that much about such an issue in the media or anywhere else. Reading the stories posted in this thread makes me wonder how pervasive the problem really is and how much of it isn't being paid attention to.
Yes very sad,so we have to start from home before asking the middle east to equate women with men except if the owner of the RF is a muslim.
What's that got to do with anything?
With women's freedom for a simple right to be equal with men to show only their breasts.
No one is trying to say anything that make sense here.
