The Qur'aan Cosmological Model: A delineation of the Origin, Evolution and End of the Universe

Photonic

In fact the Qur'aan Cosmological Model contains greater detail and accuracy than Einsteins Theory. Einstein was wrong. He did not predict the expansion. No one must be made to have been correct in his prediction if he or she was not. I am in the process of presenting everything in this thread.

Actually, his own theory predicted expansion, and he refused to accept it.

So yes, he did, it was his greatest failure.

It's also so easy to plug in the detail after the fact, isn't it?

Yeah, I'll have to look at that later today though. Made my eyes cross. I'm no linguist by any means. I barely got through French and I think it's supposed to be easier than Arabic. You might have to guide me

Wanted to point out quickly: this doesn't appear to be clear using the Quran verses alone -- that there is an expansion; and that it's accelerating. All we know from the verses (assuming we interpret it in this way) is that there was something like a singularity* and that it was "clove asunder." That doesn't imply an accelerated expansion without using normal cosmological data to reach that conclusion.

Remember I said that I am going to present the Arabic verses of the QCM with full explanations of the terminology. I am about going to do that now in the next posts. It will be seen that the translators have not accurately portrayed the QCM terminology but I have nevertheless presented them to give an idea of the subject.
I am going to present the correct terms as they are described in the authoritative dictionaries. And from there I shall go forward to produce the QCM.
Also I have never mentioned that the QCM mentions singularities which I have already discarded over fifteen years ago. I have already extracted a great amount of information from the QCM from that 'initial' state.
In fact I can rely on the QCM alone to describe every detail of the universe but it is always good to have a peep at the universe to check if one were on track. You will notice that I am not jumping to what other cosmologists agree upon. I am faithfully presenting the QCM's view which I am going to begin to explain.

There are also other QCM verses that throw light upon the matter. I give you as an example the following Qur'aanic translation of a verse done in 1980 by a Jewish scholar who have switched over to Islaam. In the commentary upon the verse he states that the Qur'aan says that the universe is going to expand forever and that is before it was established to be such.

I shall from the next post begin to set out the Qur'aan Cosmological model

Ok, that verse does respond to my objection about the expansion appearing in the Quran. I'll await your exposé

Let us now present the first of the two
Qur’aan Cosmological Model (QCM) verses from the 'real' Qur'aan; meaning the one in Arabic as it has been presented by the Prophet (S+). Let us begin the exposé!

Here is the Arabic text of the first Qur’aan Cosmological Model verse with transliteration.Don't be dismayed if you cannot read the Arabic because it is the transliteration which we will be using here for our exposition.

Qur’aan 021:30

transliteration

‘a-wa-lam yara lladhiyna kafaruw
‘anna as-samaawaati wa-l-‘arDa kaanataa Ratqan
fa-Fataq-naa humaa
wa-ja”al-naa min al-maa’i kulla shay’in hayyin
‘a-fa-laa yu’minuwna

Here I present the most accurate translation of the verse. Though by no means perfect. I have not translated the key words because they are technical terms in their own right and cannot be translated without grave loss of the original. I will select and explain each of them adequately with proofs from the Qur'aan itself as well as the authoritative Arabic dictionaries.

translation
Have those who have disbelieved now not seen:-
that the samaawaat and the ‘arD
(1)- were both Ratqan
(2)- and so We Fataq them both again.
And We made from water every living thing.
Will they now not believe?

This verse contains an encyclopedia of information of which I will touch upon only the cosmological aspects here for now. To do that I will simply extract the parts of the verse that I have already colored in. Here it is.

that the samaawaat and the ‘arD
(1)- were both Ratqan
(2)- and so We Fataq them both again.

What is the verse actually saying. When we read it at face value we see that it speaks about how ALLAAH (God) brought about the creation of the universe we happen to find ourselves living in. This earth upon which we live, the sun and the moon and the stars, and everything else that the universe contains.
Let us go over it again exactly as it is written.
ALLAAH says, "

that the samaawaat and the ‘arD
(1)- were both Ratqan
(2)- and so We Fataq them both again."
I would like you to repeat the verse at least three times so that you can become familiar with those four untranslated technical terms of which I have already said cannot be translated without grave lost of the original. The problem is that when scholars think that they can translate these technical terms of the Qur'aan into English or for that matter any other language and they go ahead and then begin to do so they effectively make the Qur'aan totally dysfunctional. Then people who have no understanding of what the original is saying begin to read and study it and start making all kinds of proclamations as to what the Qur'aan is really saying. So they have mislead themselves and all others who follow them and that goes for all those who repeat their behavior.

Come let us now go into the meaning of those four important technical terms so that we can make our way into The Qur'aan Cosmological Model.

I will continue in the next post. I did not manage to finish. I have been working at this post now for almost four hours non stop. And I do not think the post can carry all the written content.

To be continued.

Two articles up for debate I wrote for a local newspaper in 1991.I have expanded considerably upon them since that time.

Article One

The Qur’aan Cosmological Model is based upon two verses of The Qur’aan. The Qur’aan is composed of about 6300 verses. These two Qur’aanic verses contain within themselves the plan or cosmological structure and design of the entire universe from before T = 0 (Time was equal to zero) until again when T = 0 (Time will again be Zero) and after.
There is too much in here that needs addressing so I will start with this alone. Can you explain what it is that is meant by until T = 0 here? When does the Quran's two simple verses say this will happen? What happens from that point on? Just generally elaborate please, on this and this alone for now.

It does not have greater detail and accuracy than Einstein knew. Did the Quran predict black holes like Einstein?

My main point is that the writers of the quran had scientific knowledge that they sold as spiritual knowledge. Also I have another objection because the quran verses are interpolations of the Genesis account in chapter one of the Old Testament. To say that Genesis was talking about the beginning of the universe is a gross misrepresentation IMO.

What are you talking about? You have no idea what you are saying? Is that the definition of Pantheism. You did not even study what has been written here. How can I respond?

I share that opinion.
It could remotely share bits and pieces of the overal pattern, but it is pointing to a creation that is local that simply makes use of cosmological terms as symbols. Once you know what each symbol stands for, then you can decipher the proper meaning, which is extremely precise.

For example:

Quran 21:30 is being used as something that happened to the universe however in the bible, Old Testament, the waters were split when the earth was formed and isn't a reference to something that happened in the big bang.

So the problem I am having is comparing the creation of earth with a creation of the universe. The verse says, from the waters come every living thing. What does the creation of earth and living things have to do with the singularity and the expansion of the universe? All interpolation and hyperbole.

Must be read from post #1 to follow
Before we can embark on this simple quest to see whether or not the Qur'aan has a satisfactory and complete explanation for the existence of the universe, we need first have to present from the Qur'aan itself the relevant Qur'aanic verses for analysis.
For the sake of not wanting to be accused of not faithfully rendering the appropriate Qur'aanic verses I have decided to present the translations of mostly non-Muslim scholars to remove any such doubts. Over half of the presented translations go back prior to 1929 when it was discovered that the universe was undergoing expansion. Therefore it cannot be said that this knowledge of the 'big bang' is not contained in the Qur'aan.
Remember these are only translations and not the real Qur'aan which is in the perfect branch of the Arabic language which Arabs in the world do not speak.
The two Qur'aanic Cosmological verses go into very great detail about the entire structure of the universe from before its beginning until after its ultimate fate. The General Theory of Relativity is but a dot as compared to the details one find in these two Qur'aanic cosmological verses.I present to you here the first of the two Qur'aanic cosmological verses that when place together produces hundreds of geometric delineations of the various phases of the universe including details beyond plank time. After I have presented the second two Qur'aanic cosmological verses in posts to follow I shall begin with the detailed analysis. Hope that the debate can begin! Please do not go too much off topic and make unnecessary unrelated remarks. Take as your example the quoted lady above and be an intelligent logical no nonsense critic. Then we will be able to progess and see whether this Model will lead us to The Theory of Everything or die an ignominious death.

I'm not seeing how you came to this conclusion. Can you extrapolate the mathematics out of the qur'aans statements? Can we make accurate predictions based on those mathematics?

I can take any of Einsteins models (minus some failed ones) and make an accurate prediction about something that will occur given the circumstances.
I can make models, extrapolate new equations and knowledge, create, invent, etc. Can I do the same with the Qur'aan, and if so, why has it NEVER been done before?

The same reason why Einstein did not see it in his own theory. You are going to see how deep this Qur'aan Cosmological Model goes. The only option for the world is 'don't look at it'. That is the only thing that is going to prevent you from seeing.

Ok, that verse does respond to my objection about the expansion appearing in the Quran. I'll await your exposé

Continued from post # 89.

The four technical terms are:-
- the samaawaat

- the ‘arD

- R
atqan
- F
ataq

The definite article ‘al’ ‘the’ I have translated as
'the samaawaat' and not 'al-samaawaat'; and 'the ‘arD' and not 'al-‘arD'. You would have noticed that I have written '‘arD' with a capital D instead of with a small d. The reason for this is that there are two d’s in the Arabic language; one pronounced at the tip of the tongue like the ‘d’ in the English word ‘did’ and the other pronounced with the tongue against the roof of the mouth and similar to the ‘D’ in the English word ‘Dark’ but even more emphatic. It is said that the Arabic language is the only language which contains this letter or sound. In fact almost all Muslims mispronounce this emphatic ‘D’ and thus destroy the Qur’aan with their tongues without realizing it because every letter of the Qur’aan is a multi-dimensional space-time configuration. The Jews have done the same thing with the letters of the Torah which are also all multi-dimensional space-time configurations. The Christians have no part in this science because they have completely discarded the alphabet of the Bible and opted to translate and read the Holy Book in other alphabets and languages. For Example the letter ‘M’ called ‘MiyM’ and ‘Mem’ in Hebrew are the symbols for the mathematical equation of a circle x/2 + y/2 = r/2. This is what is referred to as the knowledge contained in all the Divine Books. If this knowledge is lost then virtually everything becomes lost. The Divine Books would then become interpretations of infinite duration- like it is now.

Let us look at the technical term ‘samaawaat’.
‘samaawaat’is the plural of the Arabic word ‘samaa’’. If we were to open an Arabic dictionary like that of Edward William Lane which was published in 1865 and regarded as one of the greatest dictionaries of all time we will find the following definitions or explanations.

As a verb:
- he or it was, or became, high, lofty, raised, upraised, uplifted, upreared, exalted, or elevated.
- he or it rose, or rose high.
-he or it rose higher or above.

As a noun:
-the higher, or upper, or highest, or uppermost, part of anything.
-the sky, or heavens.

Let us look at the technical term
‘arD.
As a verb:
- he or it became lowly or submissive.
- he or it became or rendered heavy, slow, sluggish, inclining, or propending, to the ground.
-it collected moisture, and became luxuriant with herbage
-it became soft to tread upon, pleasant to sit upon, productive, and good in its herbage or vegetation.
-the ulcer, or sore, became blistered, and wide, and corrupt, and dissundered.

As a noun:
With the definite article ‘the’
- the earth as opposed to heaven.
-the ground, as meaning the surface of the earth, on which we tread and sit and lie.
-the floor

Without the definite article ‘the’
- a land, or a country.
- a piece of land or ground.
- anything that is low.

Let us look at the technical term -
Ratqan.
From the verb: Rataqa

-
he closed up.
- he sewed up, or together.

Ratqan

- closed up.

- sewn up.

Let us look at the technical term
- Fataq.
It is the verb: -
Fataqa
- he slit it, rent it, rent it asunder or open, or divided it lengthwise.

- he disjoined it, or disunited it
