We do not believe G-d will assume a human form. Nowhere in Messianic prophecy is the Messiah G-d in human form or otherwise. Jews also do not believe anyone can assume responsibility for the sins of another. G-d also calls human sacrifice an abomination and condemns it in the strongest possible terms.

Message #697 deals with the fact that a human can be a sacrifice if they're not conceived by means of the "evil smelling drop of semen" (Avot 3:1); they can be sacrificed to God as a fitting recompense for sin since they're not subject to death being that the wages of sin is death and they weren't conceived in sin (phallic-sex).

Ritually speaking, circumcision acts as a symbolic return to the status of Adam before the sin (phallic-sex). It does so by emblematically removing the organ through which the "evil smelling drop of semen" comes, so to say.

Voila! . . After Abraham symbolically removes the offending organ (so that semen and the serpent of death have no fleshly deliverer), Isaac, who's born after that emasculating ritual, is fit to be ritually sacrificed, aka the Akedah. But since Abraham's emasculation is merely ritual (it doesn't cut clean through to the bone of the truth it symbolizes) so too Isaac's sacrifice, aka the Akedah, is only symbolic, ritual. As Abraham doesn't cut all the way through to the truth of the emasculating nature of ritual circumcision, he likewise only scaths Isaac, perhaps drawing a little blood, ala brit milah, rather than doing the full Monty in confidence that since Isaac is virgin-conceived (like a latter day Isaac) he's not subject to death (like a latter day human sacrifice) and will get up off the wood on his back (like a latter day resurrection) in order to back up the truth that without the smelly drop of semen, death has no hold on anyone.

We do not believe G-d will assume a human form. Nowhere in Messianic prophecy is the Messiah G-d in human form or otherwise.

If the persons exegeting and interpreting the scripture need that to be true, then they'll likely interpret even scriptures that teach otherwise, in a malfeasant manner akin to some of the things found in the Masoretic text. Jeremiah 23:5-8 is a case in point. In the Hebrew, rescued from the the way the Masoretes nail down the living Torah so it can't speak orally, it says:

Behold, the days come saith the Lord that I will resurrect הקמתי unto David a righteous basal-shoot צמח and king who shall reign and prosper and execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days, Judah shall save, and Israel shall dwell safely, such that this is his name whereby he shall be called, The Lord our Righteousness.​

Sound exegesis contradicts the Masorete's attempt to deny Messiah as a case where "Judah shall save" (Judah shall be a savior), and where the messianic-king is directly said to be called, "The Lord our Righteousness." Hidden in the Jeremiah 23:5-8 is the key to how and why Messiah is called, "The Lord our Righteousness," how and why Messiah is fit to be not only King, not only Righteous Lord, but Savior too. It's all in the word the English version translates "Branch," i.e., tsemach צמח.

In Hebrew, the word tsemach צמח doesn't really mean "branch." There's another word for that, netzar נצר. The word tsemach צמח speaks of a specialized branch, a non-sexual basal-shoot growing from the root of a tree rather than growing out of a sexually fertilized seed. In Isaiah 11:1 we see the word netzar נצר being linked to the concept found in the word tsemach צמח, and in a verse and chapter speaking specifically of the birth of Messiah:

And there shall come a rod out of the coppiced stump גזע of Jesse, and a branch נצר shall grow out of his roots, and the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him.​

Isaiah 11:1 is the exegetical key to Jeremiah 23 and vice versa since Jeremiah 23:5-8 points out that the messianic king will be a basal-shoot out of the root (rather than a branch from a sexually fertilized seed) while Isaiah 11:1 says this rod חטר will rise out of a coppiced tree גזע, will sprout, asexually, from the root of a dead stump (Jesse) as a netzar נצר or nazarene.

Without doing any exegetical yoga or gymnastics, two undeniably messianic passages of scripture claim that Messiah's name will be related to the fact that he grows out of the dead stump of Jesse (a coppiced stump גצע) as a basal-shoot צמח (a non-sexual branch, in contradistinction to a branch come from the normal sexual processes of the tree). Because of this virgin-conception and birth (i.e., because Messiah comes from the coppiced root remaining after Jesse circumcises his organ, which circumcision Jewish midrashim compares to coppicing), he will be called "The Righteous Lord."

These two messianic passages from the Tanakh imply that the very reason we know Messiah's supernal name is "The Righteous Lord" is because his human name is directly and unequivocally related to a non-sexual צמח branch נצר growing out of a coppiced/circumcised root of Jesse's patrilineal tree. We know Messiah is Lord because of the nature of his miraculous virgin birth.

For those who don't know what any of this means it might help to point out that in Isaiah 48:6, the prophet says the name of Messiah that's hidden from Israel because of their sin is "Nazarene" נצרות. As fate would have it, the Talmud names Jesus of Nazareth the "Nazarene." That is to say that the Talmud, of all places, calls Jesus, "Nazarene," which nazarene is a shoot or branch that grows asexually out of a coppiced, dead, stump, such that it is quite literally a resurrected branch of the dead tree. It grows out of the roots beneath the earth, so that when it sprouts up out of the earth it's the resurrection, the "rising" קום of the formerly dead tree.

If the whole world was sanctity, if everyone was pure and clean, there'd be no death, no angel of death ruling the roost, such that there'd be no need for a clean sacrifice to sanctify the un-sanctity (uncleanness) of the born sinner. If man was created or born sanctified he wouldn't require a sacrifice (animal or man) to bring himself close to God since he would already be close to God. God would walk and talk with him in the garden. The need for a sacrifice only arrives with sin and death.

The entire laws pertaining to sacrifices . . . are all reminders of the first sin committed by Adam and the resultant diminution of man's stature in the universe.​

Man's diminution after his seduction by the serpent ended only when the Jewish people received the Torah. At that time the Jewish people finally excreted any residue of the pollutant absorbed by him by way of the original serpent. Man (Jews) was then fit to resume his original stature. . . Alas, Israel again lost this lofty status through its sin with the golden calf, and as a result the universe (man) once more returned to a state of imperfection never again to be totally rehabilitated until the advent of the Messiah.​

As has been noted by many great Jewish sages, it's the case that when scripture is revealing something supernally important, something so great it must be hidden from the hoi polloi, the profane glyphs where such secrets are written often become sacred themselves, hieroglyhs so to say.

The word for the asexual branch that will reveal the arrival of Messiah, and thus what it looks like to be free of the pollution from the serpent, is, as has been noted, the word tsemach צמח. Ironically, if you invert the letters for this word representing being free from the pollution of the serpent you get the word chamez חמץ, that is, "leaven." Hieroglphically speaking, then, leaven represents the pollution the holy Shelah calls, with reference to Avot 3:1, the "evil smelling drop of semen." If the foregoing is to be believed, if the foregoing is to be enlightening, this "evil smelling drop of semen" is, hieroglyphically speaking, represented by leaven. If you're conceived with leaven, the evil smelling drop, you're needing of salvation, whereas if you're concieved without leaven, as unleavened bread, you're the solution for those needing salvation.

If someone poo poos the idea that leaven is symbolic of semen, they might be surprised to know that the word the scripture uses for the place where leaven resides is called the miseret משארת. If we suspect that that word retains some of the same hieroglyphic power that inhabits the word for the branch צמח not conceived through sexual propagation, i.e.,the tsemach צמח (which inverted spells chametz/leaven חמץ), then it might be unsettling to realize that in the word for where leaven is added, miseret משארת, the first and last letters (mem and tav) spell the word for "death" mot מת, which is also the word for "man" or "husband" מת. This is telling since the letters in the middle of this man, or death, is seor שאר, which is another word for "leaven."

If the letters in the word for where leaven is added to dough are separated they end up as a heiroglyph of a "man" מת with "leaven" שאר in his mid section מ–שאר–ת miseret. The word for where leaven is added is a pictogram of a "man" מת with leaven שאר in the middle of the garden of his body.

The text suggests a strong connection between the expected Messiah and Jesus, the "Nazarene".

I've seen this discussed here a bit and there is a lot of misinformation so here are some of the key (but not all) reasons Jews do not believe in Jesus.

The Messiah must be from David's line and from the tribe of Judah, Jesus was not.
The Messiah must rebuild the temple, the temple still stood when Jesus lived.
The Messiah must reunite the Jews, the Jews were not even scattered when Jesus lived.
The Messiah must be Jewish... duh.
The Messiah will establish world peace and rule justly, Jesus did not do this.
The Messiah will rule when the Torah is written in everyone's heart and all people acknowledge Hashem as G-d, Jesus did not do this.

In addition Jews do not accept the notion of a trinity or original sin. We do not believe G-d will assume a human form. Nowhere in Messianic prophecy is the Messiah G-d in human form or otherwise. Jews also do not believe anyone can assume responsibility for the sins of another. G-d also calls human sacrifice an abomination and condemns it in the strongest possible terms. There is nothing in Messianic prophecy about the Messiah dying and coming back at a later date, it says he will finish the job.

Just for reference. It was suggested in an earlier post that potentially Jews should kind of "put aside our knowledge of what the Tanakh states in Hebrew," and w/o the text consider the claims made in the New Testament. Though this suggestion makes no sense, I will say that if anyone is interested in a Torah based Jewish analysis of the New Testament below is playlist of a series called A Rabbi Cross Examines the New Testament by Rabbi Michael Skobac. He has spent several years chapter by chapter going through the NT and analyzing what is written in it against Torah, history, etc. There are 226 videos, he started at Matthew went through Acts to Revelation, and now he has been going through the other gospels (he is currently in Luke). His videos are highly suggested for Christians to understand a play by play of why we Jews don't accept Christian claims.

Christian Bible scholars agreed that the Gospel had been preached in all the world by the mid 19th century.
All people know about Jesus and Christianity.
Yet very few know about the God's kingdom and that it can be with them already. I think the "Christian scholars" are wrong.
I believe those verses are about Baha'u'llah who was one like Jesus, so Baha'u'llah was the return of the Son of man.
How is Baha'u'llah like Jesus?
The problem Christians have is that the Bible does not SAY that Jesus will return, not anywhere in the OT or the NT.
That is not true, for example because:

who also said, "You men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who was received up from you into the sky will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky."

For starters they both brought the Holy Spirit to humanity. They also had the same end goal, to unite mankind.

John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

“My object is none other than the betterment of the world and the tranquillity of its peoples. The well-being of mankind, its peace and security, are unattainable unless and until its unity is firmly established. This unity can never be achieved so long as the counsels which the Pen of the Most High hath revealed are suffered to pass unheeded.”

That is not true, for example because:

One verse in the Bible spoken by angels, who carry no authority, says Jesus will return.
Nowhere did Jesus say He will return. Rather, Jesus said His work was finished here and He was no more in the world.

Acts 1:9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. 10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

The disciples (Men of Galilee) were staring up into the sky. The two men dressed in white (angels) came along and asked why they were staring up into the sky. The two men dressed in white (angels) then wondered why the disciples were staring up into the sky, and then they said that the same Jesus who was taken up to heaven will return as he went to heaven. The text does not say what the disciples saw going up to heaven, but presumably it was the spiritual body of Jesus, the body that Jesus had after he died physically and was resurrected (transformed).

1 Corinthians 15: 51 But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed!

If it was the spiritual body of Jesus that ascended, that body would not come back to earth since spiritual bodies were made for heaven, not for earth.

1 Corinthians 15:40 There are also bodies in the heavens and bodies on the earth. The glory of the heavenly bodies is different from the glory of the earthly bodies. 41 The sun has one kind of glory, while the moon and stars each have another kind. And even the stars differ from each other in their glory.

If Jesus returned to earth in a spiritual body nobody could see him, which contradicts all the other verses that say that we will see him.

Mark 14:62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Matthew 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Mark 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

It is miraculous...God is capable of assuring that Jesus, perfect in soul as we all are, could incarnate into the male fetus of Mary and Joseph, protected from the incumbrance of original sin, to put His Chosen Messiah on par with the first parents, knowing that he was going to have the same decision put to him that they did. He chose One-ness with God, and not independence, bringing the truth of light and life to humanity. This is probably easier for most people to understand than the virgin birth which is a pagan insert.

As virgin birth is older than Christianity, so too, circumcision, animal sacrifice, etc., etc., are older than Judaism. As Professor Nahum Sarna points out, Jewish and Christian rituals, symbols, and practices, though they aren't completely dependent on the so-called "pagan" precedents, are nevertheless an evolution of those ideas. As Sarna explains, you must understand the nature of the pagan myths to understand what a Jewish or Christian symbol means in it's role as an evolutionary advancement of the symbol or myth that, literally, pre-seeded the Jewish or Christian symbol, doctrine, or practice.

Isaiah and the Assyrian menace

. . . Again, virgin birth myths go back to Adam and Eve. It's the "seed of the woman" (unsullied by the evil smelling drop of semen) through which the Savior will come after the Fall in the garden is affected by the seed of the man bollixing everything up.

The idea of virgin birth is the idea of a return to the immortality that existed prior to phallic-sex and its meiotic mechanisms. As world-class biologists (Lynn Margulis, who btw is an atheist) puts it, phallic-sex and its meiotic mechanisms instituted a sort of sexually transmitted disease causing senescence and death where prior to phallic-sex and its meiotic mechanisms (ritualized in the demonizing of menstruation) organisms were biologically immortal:

Virgin birth mythologizes the fact that in the conception and subsequent virgin birth of Messiah, phallic-sex and its meiotic mechanisms (symbolized by semen and menstruation) will have their fangs pulled and semen won't be allowed to transmit its death-sentence to the first member of the new, immortal, spiritual species. Jesus' virgin birth is quite literally and truly the speciation event par excellent.

Regarding the Hebrew word "almah" עלמה, though it's not the literal word for a "virgin," בתולה, it's the case that every "almah" throughout the Tanakh is a virgin (since the word generally means an unmarried maiden). Typologically speaking, since every Jewish groom ritually emasculates himself (brit milah) prior to the chuppah, every almah is, ritually speaking, a perpetual virgin since her groom ritually sacrifices the fleshly serpent the evil smelling drop of semen rides in on in every non-Jewish conception and pregnancy. We shouldn't be too surprised that, at least phonetically speaking, if you invert the Hebrew word for "almah" you get "ha-milah" המלע, (the circumcision). A perpetual virgin is the point of ritually emasculating (ha-milah) every Jewish male before he gets to the chuppah.

Jesus: Born Without Sin
"...As to the subject of my being born without sin, this is a subject I know that has been confusing to many. The simple fact is that I was born of the Holy Spirit in the sense that God conferred upon me the privilege of exercising my free will unhampered by any tendencies to sin. And, thus, I was given the Adamic condition of free choice that was enjoyed by our first parents. Did Jesus say this at a recent Trump rally? :) I don't find it in the Gospels. Though it seems mostly consistent with the Gospels.

1 John 3:9 “...Anyone having been born of God does not practice sin, because His seed abides in him, and he is not able to continue sinning, because he has been born of God.

Ezekiel 36:26-27 "...I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes and to carefully observe My ordinances..."

There's a lot going on in those quotes. Fwiw, the Law (the heart and soul of Judaism) was written in stone. On Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4), a living version of the Law came down and rested on the hearts and minds of the disciple in the upper room. In Cecil B. Demille's, The Ten Commandments, he shows the languages of fire etching themselves in stone just as in Acts 2:1-4 the same languages of fire burn themselves into the flesh and blood minds of the disciples.

if circumcision is as important as you say, then perhaps the Islamic faith is the ultimate reconciliation for mankind?
It is very important as it is the physical sign or one of the physical signs of the original spiritual Covenant of Abraham, the truthful Israelites (not the Jews who are not spiritual Israelites but they are from the descent of Judah) already realized it and accepted " Islamic faith (well knowing that) it is the ultimate (religion destined from One G-d that merited) reconciliation for mankind ", Islamic reasonable faith in great numbers, right, please?

So Jesus was born to a man?

Jesus was born through a human woman giving Him humanity. Joseph, as His legal father gave Him His lineage to David and Abraham.

“Seventeen verses in the New Testament describe Jesus as the “son of David.” But the question arises, how could Jesus be the son of David if David lived approximately 1,000 years before Jesus? The answer is that Christ (the Messiah) was the fulfillment of the prophecy of the seed of David (2 Samuel 7:12–16). Jesus is the promised Messiah, which means He had to be of the lineage of David. Matthew 1 gives the genealogical proof that Jesus, in His humanity, was a direct descendant of Abraham and David through Joseph, Jesus’ legal father. The genealogy in Luke 3 traces Jesus’ lineage through His mother, Mary. Jesus is a descendant of David by adoption through Joseph and by blood through Mary. “As to his earthly life [Christ Jesus] was a descendant of David” (Romans 1:3).”

I thought that Christians believed in the Virgin Birth and that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, which is what Baha'is believe.
That would have to mean that Jesus had no human father.
How then could Jesus have gotten His lineage through Joseph?
