" In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity.

It is a natural cycle of human existence.
We have been through it many times.
We will be okay.

as soon as possible, I hope. People have destroyed the planet; I am really ashamed of what humans have done.
Exactly what are you saying here, for me personally? Since you hope that it is soon, show me what you want for me.

I think this world is in chaos and every day this is verified with news accounts and events taking place all across the globe. I believe this is a strong indication pointing to the end of the age and the soon return of Jesus Christ. In this thread I am going to post some of these news stories and events as I have time, but I'll only be able to highlight very few at a time since so much is happening so fast it's really too hard to keep up with everything. Feel free to read and/or comment or discuss.

In Christ,
You are absolutely accurate. All living today are eyewitnesses to a composit list of 39 signs that we are living at the end of a system of things, or Age. Many things mentioned at Matt chapter 24, Mark chp 13 and Luke chat 21. Also Paul and Peter wrote about things that would be happening in the Last Days, 2Tim 3:1-7, 2Pet 4:3-7.
There is just one thing you put in your post, that I wonder if you understand.
You spoke about all the people IN Jesus are a New Creation. This is true, but do you know exactly who are really IN Jesus???
Only the ones who belived in Jesus, are the ones spoken of as his Bride, John 3:29, 2Cor 11:2, Rev 19:7-9, 21:2. These are the ones who are spoken of as being in the Lamb's Book of Life, Rev 21:27.
These are the ones who are to be Born Again, John 3:3-8. These ones are spoken of as being Born of God, not of flesh and blood, John 1:12,13.
This group, the Bride was a small group, Luke 12:32,, they were SEALED with the Holy Spirit, Rev 7:3,4. This small group was contrasted to a great crowd that would come out of The Great a Tribulation and live on earth forever. The small group will go to heaven to rule as Kings and Priests over the earth, Rev 5:9,10, Rev 20:4-7.
This same group are ADOPTED by God to be His Children, BROTHERS of Jesus, Rom 8:13-17, Eph 1:3-5, Heb 2:11,12,17, Matt 25:40.
God made the earth to be inhabited, and when God states a purpose it does not change, Isa 14:24,26,27, 55:11, Ps 115:16, Isa 45:18, Ps 37:29.
Meditate on these scriptures because very few understand God's purpose for the earth. He told Adam to multiply and fill the earth and that will come true.
Look up Covenant Theology, or Federal Theology.

Welcome to what it is to be human.

The world has always been in chaos

Okay, the world has always been in chaos, at least you are aware enough to realize that. So then isn't it about time that humans, including you, admit we as created beings aren't do such a great job of managing life on earth and seek wisdom and advice from the Creator? Or should we just keep pretending we can fix everything on our own, including our self-centered nature which causes all the problems in the first place?

According to the scriptures... The earth belongs to Lord and everything in it ( Psalm 24:1) and those who destroy it will face judgment.

The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come,
And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,
And those who fear Your name, small and great,
And should destroy those who destroy the earth.” Revelation 11:18

I read the Bible. Lots of war, rape, and child murders. I think it's about time we stop asking God.

Idiocy

There is no wisdom in imagination inspired by ancient mythology.

There is nothing that talks to anyone less their own minds, and I don't not trust the weak minds that make unsubstantiated claims of things that do not exist.

There is some wisdom in the morals and lessons in the books that are great, and they are in most religious books. But the supernatural BS has to go. It doesn't exist, that's why it is supernatural.

Humans are violent, and as people outbreed their resources from ignorance, they go hungry and children die. When children die men fight.

As the people cannot control how they breed like rats, they create conditions ripe for disease and pandemics and war.

Religion does not address the core issue, some primitive religions promote this. And then religious leaders exploit the ignorance of the people.

Now you can back this garbage if you want, but intelligent people will not stand for it, as we have thousands of years as a track record to study mans past mistakes. If you want to repeat he cycles more power to you, but I wont have any part of that nonsense.

By the way creation is 100% myth and has no basis in reality< get used that fact, because that is being swept under the rug on a daily basis.

We factually evolved and its not up for debate with ignorant theist.

Why do you ignore how bad the world has been in much more chaos in the past?

Is it because your trying force mythology into reality so hard you throw facts out the window ????

Why do you want this mythology to be right so bad?

Everyone who has stated the end is near, has been 110% factually wrong, why do you want to join those in error?

Expecting help from God is what the human race has been trying for nearly all of history.

It is what got us climate change, racism, ISIS, and a population of 7,000,000,000. The human race desperately needs better morals than the ones ancient people attributed to God.

We need to fix things since there is demonstrably no God who cares enough.

Thats it right there. We are the only gods I know of even close to capable of fixing the mess we mostly created.

Every generation for the last two thousand years (or more) has mistakenly thought they were living in the "end times." But, I'm sure the doomsayers have it right this time.

Yup.

The world has come to an end so many times now that I lost count. It seems to end every year!

The difference is that not all modern people are basing their predictions on Scripture. Some are actually using science and math and stuff like that.

I don't think you understand how to read the Bible. Yeah, there is a lot of violence and evil behavior because much of the scripture, especially the OT is a narrative on human behavior and how wicked it is.

Actually, I'd say the human race has basically been ignoring God or creating made-up gods of their own liking throughout history instead of seeking help from the real Creator and that is the reason for all the problems on earth.

Why would you say that? Religion has been a driving force for all of recorded history.

What do you mean by "seeking help from the real Creator"? Is that different from Christianity?
