apparently, it started on the outskirts of Paris where there is a higher concentration of immigrants and housing projects and has spread into Paris proper as well as outside to other cities...

great points motoman, i agree that we all have the ability to exercise our consumer choice....thing is, i was looking into satellite radio (because i, like you, celebrate variety and like having ) and only XM offers you the ability to block certain channels. so basically, with stern on sirius...

the notion that drug testing in schools would prevent kids from smoking it is illogical. There are a variety of (simple) ways around drug tests, especially the basic ones schools would be forced to use due to cost considerations.
i have no idea why i started. i first did in HS, to try it. probably cause i thought i was cool or whatever. i never smoked every day though and now only smoke when i go out to bars and am drinking. for some reason, i only want a cig when im out.
in my day, which is today, that's still gets you labeled pothead. here i am sitting, wondering what "above moderate" use is defined as. maybe usage should be redefined in terms of "per week trips to 7-11 to buy twinkies."
