thanks for posting that article.
i drink coffee ecah day and definitely would prefer i didnt, because i notice the way the caffeine wakes me up. evertyhing in moderation though....:bonk:
installing our version of democracy is a tall order. i dont see how we can remove their regime and then just leave, but i also dont see how we can realistically expect for "our way" to work in their country. no matter our sensible our policy is, it will meet natural resistance because it is ours...
you should be able to wear whatever you want, but i definitely think how you dress determines how you are perceived, which is critical to your professionalism. the girl who exposes the most cleavage doesnt always win.
quick question: if transgenderism is a result of hormonal developments, how did it exist prior to technological advances allowing for sex change modifications? where are the historical examples?
(im not slamming it at all, im just asking to see if anyone knows!);)
i agree. if you need to burn something in protest, find another symbol. and if the only way you feel you can properly protest is to burn something, think about your options. there are more powerful ways.
how would i reform it?
1. hold students and teachers to higher standards
2. teach kids when they're in school, if they're not learning there's no point
3. attract higher quality teachers by a higher pay scale and again, holding them to high standards
labelling one a liberal or a conservative really isnt critical to any debate--its pointless actually and just takes the debate to an unnecessary (personal) level.
you would not go to jail, this is correct. people can be arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) on drugs (not alcohol), and as long as they do not also have the drugs on their property/person, they will not also be charged for possession.
anyway, most people here seem to agree drugs be...
i agree. i dont shred, but feel very unsafe not doing so. i check my bank accounts and other financial info regularly (daily, when possible) as a defense, but i think what experts would say is that is not good enough.
i dont understand how diseases can just go unchecked by monitored animal populations. you would think they could do a better job keeping outbreaks like the one you mention under control.
i agree with this statement. i dont think drugs should be completely "legal," rather, i think they should be regulated the same way cigarettes and alcohol are. there is too much violence, imprisonment, and time and money expended as a result of drugs being illegal.
this is a very difficult topic. of course, america was built by immigrants and our country founded on freedom. our current infrastructure, however, seems ill-equipped to handle the influx.
